If this blog suddenly goes offline...

... this may be the reason why.

Oops... I haven't said anything complimentary about Obama. So is saying ANYTHING about him grounds for a lifetime ban? I'm not that good at censoring my views. I suspect, neither is Carl Matzav who writes this blog. If Google means one can post only politically correct views on blogs, then all of our free speech rights are under threat.

Looks like it's only if you come to the attention of enough kookballs who then send complaints about you as running a "spam blog" that Google's automated system kicks in and knocks you off until and unless a live person can re-evaluate it, which of course may take a long time. So it looks like the Obama supporters are finding blogs that annoy them and then targeting some of them for complaints to Google so that Google's automated system will kick them off as "possibly spam." With any luck, we can say that if Carl has been operating this long and the kooks haven't yet used this weapon against him, they probably aren't going to. But perhaps that is being too hopeful. I'm not worried about my own personal blog, because almost nobody reads it anyway (you guys should sometime--it has a lot of very hawkish pro-Israel stuff on it), so I doubt it would be a target for such a "spam labeling attack."
