Emergency Committee for Israel calls on Kerry to resign after he warns of Israeli 'apartheid'

Today the Emergency Committee for Israel released the following statement on Secretary of State John Kerry's use of the term "apartheid state" to threaten Israel:
On Friday, Secretary of State John Kerry raised the specter of Israel as an "apartheid state." Even Barack Obama condemned the use of this term when running for president in 2008.

Yet this was no gaffe. Secretary Kerry's musings on the Jewish state's dire future have become a regular feature of his public remarks. His latest prediction follows other statements in recent months that have in effect threatened Israel -- never the Palestinians -- with a list of disasters should his diplomatic efforts fail: violence, isolation, delegitimization, boycotts -- and now "apartheid."

It is no longer enough for the White House to clean up after the messes John Kerry has made. It is time for John Kerry to step down as Secretary of State, or for President Obama to fire him. And it would go a long way toward repairing the damage Kerry has done if his predecessor as Secretary of State, who is the likely Democratic Party nominee for president, explained why this kind of rhetoric had no place in her State Department and why it will have no place in her presidential campaign.
Amen.

And if they really believe that this will happen, I've got a bridge for sale.

Obama said a lot of things during his campaign for the presidency that he doesn't believe. He said whatever he thought he had to say to get elected. And to get reelected. Remember how he stopped trashing Netanyahu publicly and started making nice to Israel in the lead up to the 2012 elections? And stupid American Jews fell for it again?

Everything in Obama's background is consistent with a shared belief in what Kerry has said. EVERYTHING! And none of his actions in relation to Israel (or Iran) since his reelection is inconsistent with it.

The uber left hates Israel.

It's such a slippery edge at the Progressive Casino... It might come out fine, with the $$BBillions of Green $lu$h and Data $lu$h transferred and disbursed. But it might turn out very badly, with Israel glassed. But the idea that former US presidential candidate (2004, remember?) feels okay saying something like this, means that the Progressive Dems think they own Israel.

I met a "conservative" guy this week, who worked in Israel for more than a year and is up on all the $$lu$h (Gaia Green and Data) moving around... but he says, of course, Israel will take it. It's business. Ugh. I think I'm the only person in the world saying that Israel is being owned by bad people, by taking their $$. Isn't there something in my suggested Torah Economics that says this, that accepting $$ in large, unearned quantities is self destructive and enslaving, or am I way off track?

meanwhile Abbas repeats Nazi, ahistorical, anti-Semitic calumnies in requesting the UN to boycott those responsible for "Judaiziation of Jerusalem" (which would be beloved goyiim a tautology and and not a crime, but never mind) and nobody blinks and eye.

Time for Jewish eyes to open.

Unitary state? Annexation of Area C. Re-occupation of Ramallah and outlawing the PLO fascists? Apartheid? Call it what you will. It's preferable to suicide.

What Kerry is really saying is that peace doesnt stand a chance. because if he views apartheid as israel's likely future, then so do the 'Palestinians.' Which means, they will never agree to a two-state solution, since they "know" that Israel will soon become apartheid and as a result, eventually cease to exist.

If there is no state of Palestine in 10 years, Kerry will know that it is his fault - because he is the one who did not act to disabuse the Palestinians of this victorian (belief in the inevitability of victory) mindset.
